There are 21 preset light patterns. You can use Wecan or program it manually. In order to manually program one or a set of lights to a different pattern you must turn the lights you want to program on. Take out the unitrol or corresponding command module. There is a white/purple wire which is the programming wire. You have to touch this wire to the power wire on the lights wire. this will change the pattern each time you touch the wires.
