"Death of a loved one" probably hits closer to home (I don't think there's any cheap sex in heaven, nor there's a need for it, I hope, hehe). And I've always had a feeling Arpeggi is very close thematically. Strange though, because Thom's wife is alive and well...God bless them, I hope they live a long and happy life. Perhaps it's the fear of loosing the loved one that drives him to write something like this. Or perhaps he somehow supernaturally channels somebody else's pain.
