thom yorke is amazing, the end. i actually think i enjoyed this performance more than the live in the basement one! probably because there was an audience...he tends to get more into it when he's in front of a crowd, quite understandably.

No. The guy from Muse just does a so so Thom Yorke impersonation. I know several Muse fans and they insist that Muse does not sound like Thom Yorke. From the first time that I heard them I thought that they sounded like New Metal Radiohead...which isn't a good thing by the way.

ok, whoever thinks matt bellamy sounds like thom yorke, and that muse ripped off radiohead obviously has not listened to muse. I love radiohead and i think thom yorke is amazing. But i have seen both muse and radiohead live and i have to say muse were much much better, matt bellamy is a better guitarist, pianist and singer than thom, as much as i love radiohead it has to be said.

I love both Musicians, and Bands don't get me wrong...
They may sing in the same range and have the same ability on instruments aka they play Piano, Guitar and Vocals...
but the difference is that Matt Bellamy is a trained musician/performer
Thom Yorke is an amateur, he wasn't as privaledged to get all the training Matt did. That being said Thom ha s a much better natural talent and ear as an artist. As opposed to Matt who is a developed talent and great musician.

Another thing, Thom isn't Radiohead, and neither is Matt for Muse, they're just the front men... Matt has a bigger influence over Muse tho considering he writes most the music. Where Thom works with the entire band for the most part to create pieces... but we're comparing Experimental Music to Classically Progressive Music... Both bands are incredible in their respected fields.

I respect your opinion here, but I've seen Muse, and I'm seeing Radiohead tomorrow. But I think Muse is nowhere near the same level that Radiohead is on. Matthew Bellamy is awesome - a great guitar player (better than Yorke, but Yorke isn't supposed to be a great guitar player), and maybe a better singer (only because sometimes Yorke sounds like he's not trying). But really, Muse doesn't even compare.
