She is very talented. It's just a matter of picking the right song for her, in the top 16. Should have picked a different song. That's why Haley beat her. She deserves to be in top 12 though IMO.

If they didn't have that affirmative action style way of voting people off in the beginning (2 women @ 2 men each show) she'd might have won it all.
She also had the problem of being there in a year when you had several other talented African American female singers. And I think she got kinda lost in the mix (Melinda Doolittle, Lakisha, Jordin, and I think the other gal's name was Stephanie maybe?).
