The move is in Hindi and not Bengali because (i'm sure you know this, but just to make sure) Bollywood movies are usually in Hindi. Hindi is understood by majority of India beause it is the national language of India. The characters, however, are still Bengali; they just speak Hindi.
There is a different movie industry for Bengali films, as there is a South Indian movie industry, and others.
