I understand what you're saying, but understand that this is a competition where they are asked to create and perform a choreography in a selected category (in this case Ballroom Samba). This means it will not look like everyday Samba, and even their Ballroom Samba interpretation may not be standard; it's THEIR version, which they hope will get high marks.
