Fatty Arbuckle - A Creampuff Romance 1917- 1/3
From the public domain, A Creampuff Romance was filmed in Ft. Lee and Palisades Park, New Jersey in 1917. Fatty gets the week off to a bad start by coming home drunk at 3 AM and falling asleep in a bathtub full of water. His wife and mother-in-law are very unhappy about his late night escapades so he tries to get back in their good graces by taking them for an outing to an amusement park. At the park, Fatty ditches the wife and mother-in-law so he can flirt with the girls. Fatty then takes his wife and mother-in-law to the theater only to find that a newsman has filmed his flirtations at the park with sweet Alice and his indiscretions are being shown to the theater audience containing Alice and her boyfriend. A fight breaks out in the theater and poor Fatty realizes that the only safe haven he has from the jealous boyfriend and furious wife and mother-in-law in in the local jailhouse.

But you know, I'm sure that I've seen this one with a title of "A Reckless Romeo". It must have been released under more than one title.
