that's not true either, when he was younger, he used to pick on Hogan, Hogan said he'd have nightmares the night before he'd have to wrestle Andre (this was pre Wrestlemania) but Andre was a great guy, he just liked to have fun and rough up the young guys a bit, which is typical, nothing malicious.

No, there's a difference between injuring and stiffing. Injuring is being a dick and dropping a guy on his head or not catching him on a plancha, stiffing is like a hard club or chop. Back then, it was the norm to do that to rookies. The reason it made such an impression on Hogan is that I guess he was so big that most people he could hold his own with as far as being stiff, but Andre was just so much bigger than him that he really couldn't.

Actually that's not true. Macho Man says he still has injuries that bother him from when Andre would purposely rough him up during matches. Same with Jake Roberts. Also, if you look at the clip of the Andre/Hacksaw segment when Hacksaw hits him with the 2X4 Andre purposely tries to step on a young guy's head.

No, Andre notoriously did that to other "giants" in the territory, and Hogan was known as the new young giant. One of the only giants he couldn't do that to was King Kong Bundy because Bundy was up there in weight with Andre and could give as good as he got.
