Soviets gymnastics of the 70's and 80's. Made mostly from training footage. Hope the clips from the Yurchenko doc aren't too dark, as they were on my computer until I lightened the screen up.

That is a young Stella Zakharova, she was one of the best Soviet era gymnasts.If you Google her name, you will find out a lot of stuff about her; she was so gorgeous-looking here, really young and cute!

No. Elvira Saadi appears in this wonderful montage, but not until 5minutes 36 seconds into it.I am not sure who the girl at 52 seconds is, obviously she was on the Soviet team, as she is with Ludmila Tourischeva, but I am not sure who it is.

You mean Kips? I remember doing Kips back in the day. (1976-1992 when I was in gymnastics) Ugh I hated them. Gymnasts today are very lucky that they don't have to do Kips, lucky them.
