Who is the idiot Saatis? Randy Crawford is one of the most talented and beautiful black women ever in music. The quality of her voice is impecable, still. Shut up idiot!
This is, perhaps, the best version of this song that I have ever heard. Remember, Joe Sample is a Jazz pianist first and foremost.

You are right in that the original version was REALLY good with its 'in your face' production; however with this version, you can appreciate the delicacy of her voice... the different colours... its fragility, and its power. Both versions have their own strengths.
