the beatles are extremely over rated.
"hunky dory" is better than "rise and fall..."

I have plently of gripes with this list so I'll only spotlight my main ones...
-Wolfmother at #39???? Wolfmother sucks. -PiL's "Metal Box" should easily be in the top 50 list. -The Beatles ARE overrated. That's not to say that they sucked, though. They were great, just not the greatest. - Dark Side of The Moon is overrated. It's vaguely interesting the first couple liste
ns and then it gets stale.

maybe music wise but i must disagree...i think sgt peppers is and before you disagree I'll explain why...that album Changed everything...the piano notes in "a day in the life" the guitar riffs that had never been heard before... and much more that i cant say because i lack space to write it all...revolver is a great album but it didn't change anything the Beatles already did

Not having a go ... ( 6 days ago by zunguzunguzeng)
Not having a go here, but if these lists were done by people with actual knowledge beyond classic rock, maybe they wouldn't all be so very predictable and useless - unless it's a trivial fact that blacks (the 2 token Jazz and Blues entries here don't impress), women and non-westerners have no output worthy of inclusion.
Lol, without blacks ... ( 5 days ago by hendrix1)
Lol, without blacks none of this music would exist. Not even home on the range.
I don't dislike ... ( 5 days ago by Robem69)
I don't dislike music by black musicians or female musicians, but I like individual songs by them more than I like albums. I am a big fan of Chuck Berry, but it would be stupid to put Greatest Hits or something like that on the list.
