What a poignant, entertaining, and grotesque social expression of even our most contemporary gender roles. The imagery is fascinating and cooperates almost flawlessly with the music. You could call it a pulp fiction of a sociological sex theory. Impressive and if you don't mind I may share it with some students.

This is a fantastic genre! But all the pulp magazines was ´nt as bad as they looked. "Black Mask" for exaple was founded by L. H. Mencken, and writers such as Dashiell Hammet and Raymond Chandler published their first short stories there in the late twenties and the early thirties before they got established and accepted by Alfred A. Knopf and other well known publishers. But the covers vere made look vulgar to sell. There were too few buyers by the intellectuals to make them different.

Nicely done. Irreverent? I disagree. The pulps were popular among certain elements in society. High-toned and other supposedly "cultured" people looked down on them. I think this will likewise be dismissed by those who "knock" everything that they haven't a personal interest in. The video suits the pulps just fine.
