Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist who ever lived. Everything you see in his movies he could do for real. He actually had to slow down his movements on film, otherwise people wouldn't be able to tell what he was doing. That's how fast he was. But for those of you who don't know, Bruce Lee actually based his fighting style off the scientific priciples of boxing and fencing combined. And he was actually an avid fan of boxing and even MMA. He studied the movements of many boxers and referenced the ones that stood out. I mean even some really old time fighters to. So i'm not trying to bash boxing, I'm just trying to get rid of this idea that Bruce Lee was a fake and couldn't fight, because in reality... No one could touch him.

The great destroyer Liston couldn't handle Ali's speed and style, Frazier good as he was was beaten twice and would never have won the first fight but for the fact Ali had been cheated out of his title and been out of the ring almost 4 years. You can't compare boxing with soccer, apples and oranges, completely different sports. If anything in boxing the skills have diminished. If its all been progression in skill, than boxing wouldn't be struggling the way it is now. Tell me any boxer lately who has even come close to the skills Sugar Ray Robinson possessed. The talent pool in Tysons time and skill level was no were near that of the Golden Era of Heavyweight Boxing, which Ali ruled.

Lewis was great, but personally i think the legend heavyweights in their prime would beat him! one thing that annoys me is that boxing up to the 80's was alot better the fact it wasnt so strict. Ali in his prime would stop Tyson or win a UD. Tyson had problems with Jame Quick Tillis in there 1986 fight. Tillis got on his toes and boxed and used his left jab and ended up going a full 12 rounds with Tyson. Tillis is not on the level of 1966 Ali.
