I listened to Obama clarify his comments in a news interview and he concisely said he should have used different words to convey his meaning. He said replace "bitter" with the word "frustrated and angry" and then replace "clinging to religion" to "rely on religion" - now don't you draw the same message and meaning from his statement and comment? The message he is trying to convey is that people are sick and tied and angry about how their government is letting them down.
