i was talking just about opeth. and there are alternative bands that are also prog. and indie and alternative are the same these days, depends on where you live. in the UK indie means alternative, and in america, welll its just alternative. want proof of prog in alternative bands? look up muse and radiohead.
and opeth has the song The Grand Conjuration , which is about the devil. look at the bloody music video if you dont believe me.

Indie isnt alternative, Muse are nothing like indie, indie are bands such as the kooks and the script. anyway just because the video has the devil in it (cant remember if it does) doesnt mean its about it. the guitarist says about the making of the video that the video has nothing to do with the music or the lyrics. and even if it was, who cares?
