To have this talent come out of nowhere and to literally capture the world's attention within 24 hours is just amazing. The word was spreading across the United States the morning after his first appearance. That appearance tops any "star is born" moment from any fictional movie I've ever seen. I hope he is careful to protect his innocence and humility in the face of fame; that is crucial.

JUST ANOTHER UPDATE EVERYONE, PAUL IS STAYING JUST WHERE HE IS ON MYSPACE :o). Everyone can still go to myspace dot com/paul_potts. The Page is under reconstruction, but will be back and BETTER THAN EVER before Sunday. I think Paul channels Mario Lanza! Not since Lanza has any male opera singer appealed to the common man as much as Paul. He has rekindled the appreciation of opera in this hippie chick/rocker who digs classic music but found the arias boring (except for Carmina Burana). I hope Paul does a tour in the USA and sings "Carmina"!
