They don't use it because it's only three rounds. Plus, with the headgear and non-professional status, knockdowns are far less likely. Punches, in this case, are far more accurate for determining a winner. Otherwise, with one dominant round and two others that go slightly the other way, a fighter can undeservedly lose. That system is what makes this fight an even bigger travesty.

The Korean judges admitted they took money in order to make sure the Korean won the fight. This was one of the most lopsided fights in Olympic history. It was super obvious that something was going on. I wish he would have had the glory of winning Olympic gold. He said he had quit boxing for a while after this fight too.
