god, how i would love to play an organ such as that. ive dreamed of doing so ever since i started writeing my own music, which would sound so much better played on a good organ.only problum is there are no good organs that are open for playing that i know of.they all belong to churches, and im an atheist =p

Seriously; church organists typically love it when anyone, independent of faith, is interested in their organ. Just ask around your area for a church or hall with a nice organ and then make your interests known. Be gracious and never demanding, and people will definitely help you. (maybe instead of 'I'm an atheist' I'd say 'I don't go to church' or 'my family never went to church'... you see where I'm going with that?)

I am a Church organist and I believe that the Church organist's faith should be reflected in the music as an act of worship, as called for in Psalm 150 and others. I invite my atheist friend to try to listen for the voice of God in his heart.

The organ on this video is very beautiful. The Pipe Organ is the King of Instruments. Listening to this video, it is easy to see (hear) why. Hollywood put these things in some horror films (Phantom of the Operas) which is how they got their "evil" reputation. They are not evil or religious (although they are primarily used in Churches), they are simply the most magnificent musical instruments ever made.

Most of it is down to the history and reputation revolving around the organ that makes it so, plus the idea of being in a massive hall with a thunderous and loud instrument such as the pipe organ has a feeling and sense of danger to it.
On another note, The pip organ is one of my favourite instruments by all means, brilliant, brilliant, instrument.
