so this is more like 1981. this makes sense when you know that he made the record as a homage to punk and NY hardcore.

Sure, end of 70ies: Iggy & the Stooges, R. Hate, J. Thunders. But this song is only an empty ritual. There is a complete lack of wierd emotional energy. I think in 1981 bands like Gang of Four, Adam & the Ants, Damned, Warsaw etc came up with a pop attitude in song writing. Their energy was humoristic, full with sarcasm & melancholic emotions. This song: no hook, no humour. This is what it makes so 90ties and boring. It's only sense of existence is to be "hard", to be Alec Empire,to be Ex-ATR.
