she's not trying to act brazilian or fake brazilian, this is actually how she sings. was duran duran trying to pretend to be brazilian when they first sang this? it's not supposed to be - they were inspired by a trip there decades ago, and wrote a song commemorating it. and so Caress chose this song for their new product and chose nicole to sing it, to celebrate the spirit of fun and sensuality of romantic brazil.
