WHat Decoder are you using? I have had major issues with a strobe light effect and had to open media center in not the full mode than when it started than go full mode if not a strobe light seemingly effect happened.I have a Hauapuge 500 Tv Tuner, 6900 Gt 256MB
and i used WinDVD 7 and 8 and Nvidia Pure decoder.

Drew - sorry for taking so long to write back. I'm using the default Microsoft decoder right now only because all the other decoders are having content restriction issues at this moment.

i am thinking about getting vista home premimum for my home pc but i do not know if the ultimaste features are so good and worth a hundred dollars more. cound u give me ur opinion?

Ultimate is not worth a hundred dollars more. Ultimate has only a couple features for than Home Premium. I recommend that you buy the Home premium. The only extra features ultimate had is mostly business related such as extra file back-up protection.

The windows vista media center should called windows vista media Row.. and the gadget's sidebar should called GadBoard.. and the instant search should be called SpotSearch. That's the only thing that Microsoft should modify to be an exactly copy of Mac.
