From Argentina too, (born in California, USA),
the TV here ran two Fritz Lang movies from the 1940's that were captivating and vastly entertaining. So I went searching for more on him. Here I am!

Wow, from Cali to Argentina! I lived in So Cal for about 30 years and loved it. Which films did you see? I haven't seen many German films but my daughter tried to get me to watch them many years ago. Now I wish I'd paid more attention. She's always ahead of me :) Nice to meet you! Best, jane :)
The Secret Beyond ...( 4 months ago by billB2GBG)
The Secret Beyond the Door, 1948 and
Scarlet Street, 1945. These were both standard, Hollywood films backed with talent in front and behind the camera. The producers had won Academy Awards for previous work.
Lang reputedly was hard on actors but two of the lead actors involved in those films made at least three movies with him. That's Edward G. Robinson and Joan Bennett.

Thanks so much, Bill. I've put those on my "to get" list. Interesting info about Lang :) I'm sure it's true. I appreciate you getting back to me very much! Best, jane :)

Thank you very much for this video !!!
I discovered Metropolis film in 1984 with the Giorgio Moroder's version, and went to watch it twice on a big screen on a modern cinema. Since then, I'm in love with the movie and I have seen different versions of the film. I thank you very, very much indeed for this material, it ´s full of comments and enjoyable interesting things.

Excellent few clips ...( 3 months ago by Silverhailo21)
Excellent few clips. It seems that there is quite a following for this theme. Check out Galaxy Express 999, and the anime version of "Metropolis" for strange and brilliant re-tellings of the story. Both are marvolous, and the recent anime version of "Metropolis" is a visual feast.
