Little film of some of my friends which I shot on an old cine camera at Highcliff, England in the summer of 2005. Once the film was processed I decided to edit it on the computer and this song by Nina Simone seemed to work so well with the footage. Please let me know what you think, all comments greatly welcomed!

Really cool, man. I thought you needed a little more of something at that scat singing, climactic ending to really bring out the feeling of the moment. But, for shizzel yeah, that footage really did go well with it yo.

i agree, its just thats every frame of footage i had. if i had planned on making the film i would have probably thought out some more shots before filming. cheers for the comment though :D

Also, harrye, if you are really into Nina Simone, then you might want to try some fiona apple. She's also a female vocalist/pianist. Her song shadowboxer is pretty cool. I don't know why, but when I think Nina Simone I think fiona apple.

Freakin' brilliant. You captured exactly what I always feel when I hear Nina's version. The film quality you used (sorry, don't want to use the wrong term so I'll let someone correct for me) is perfect, made me feel like I was watching old films of my parents' vacations. Bravo.

I happened upon your video while looking for this song. I rarely bother to watch people's home vids, but this was something really special. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
