it wasn't terribly clear how the ocean can get rid of the plastic. they talked about the UV and sea waves contributing to breaking it down further, but it wasn't clear on whether or not its possible for plastic to ever be dissolved or removed from the ecosystem (from what i understand the answer is "not in a few lifetimes"). would like to see more on this.

I'm promoting unplastic Green bags-NOT polyethelene-sea turtles mistake it4 favorite food, jellyfish. Biobag is veg-resin, sinks, no floating nurdles, passes thru fish etc. without DEATH. Creatures swallow and suffocate-undigestable plastic. Doesn't solve the toothbrush-trinket-water-product-bottle-packaging-etc. Green Plastics! charles moore is truly one of those that cares.he uses his own money to clean up what he can in the pacific.we can help by not buying nondegradeable plastic products or at least minimize what we use .God bless this man.
