Messers Vogel, Furse& Ryrie would beg to disagree. They INVENTED the Fairlight Computer Music Instrument, in Rushcutters' Bay, Sydney , Australia. It is very much digital, running on a couple of early Motorola CPUs, clocked @ 1MHz. It used 8" floppy disks, one for the program ("Page R" etc.) & one to store samples. The is a quite early one, as later onesdidn't have the light pen.The Series III had a totally different layout & software, called CAPS. Now STFU, you're full of shit!
