Ozon should make more movies in French, and fewer in English. He is extremely talented, but he will not be remembered as a great French film maker if he continues to cave in to producing movies in order to get them distributed in more markets.

This movie is a piece of art,a piece of meta-art. And it reflects itself as torn between art ( Ésmé) and commerce (Angel). So far. So good. So vulgar. Because art is shown with all the well-known stereotypes beginning with adultery. And with every stereotype the art of Ésmé turns out to be commercial and will only emain in consumption. In contrast to the real art of Angel: her ability to create a reality of her own. Untouched by any market. Untouched by any audience. Bad for consumption.

I'm sorry, but this looks terrible. Like some weepy BBC period drama with better costumes. Where is the edge we've come to expect from Ozon. I can only hope this trailer, like most others, doesnt give us a clear vision of the film.
