Judy did that song on radio the day before her father passed away when Judy was 13. And as sad as that was thank God Frank Gumm was able to listen to his daughter from his deathbed. Judy became a larger than life figure after that, as far as talent was concerned. And it couldn't have happened without his love and encouragement.
