No way.. The original version is WAY better than David Cook's! There are very few artists you shouldn't try and replicate their voice.. Raine Maida is one of them.

Incredible, I can't stand people who prefer David Cook than Our Lady Peace. Seriously... Pretty soon good music like this will fade out. To be honest, actually, I think all good music like this has faded out in 2003. I know this wasn't in the 90s, but the 90s were the best decade for music. R.I.P. 1990-2003 We will all miss you.

eh? raine wrote this song a while ago, before he shifted to Los Angeles. this is actually an earlier song that he wrote which he was pretty close to, but never had the courage to put it on an album. weirdly enough, as much as many ppl dismiss this song as fodder, it's surprising to hear raine actually put it in the same category as songs like '4am' songs that he said he would 'sing till the end of his life' in an interview i read somewhere..
