Andrew Meyer, after asking questions to John Kerry, was shut up by Accent Speakers Bureau, and then escorted by UF police. Student tried to evade arrest, and then was subdued. The student said he would leave, but was handcuffed, and then subsequently tased.

The only way to know if we really have freedom of speech is to use that speech responsibly. If we use our speech to attack others, and use profanity and sarcasm, and start reacting like a nutjob, like this dude did, it becomes difficult to tell if the reaction we get is from what we said or the way we said it. And that's really what the argument here boils down to...was he arrested for what he said or the way he said it...and, is heckling always protected speech in all circumstances?
