yes ok look slusho is using rigs to extract nector from the ocean floor. this nector comes from the clover field monster see. and the parasites from clover field eat this nector. they drilled for nector found it pissed off clover field and he smashed the rig. after that the tanker putted away and cloverfield followed because it smelt like another monster cause its carrying nector found out it was just a boat when it reached newyork kicked its ass then got pissed

also its just my guess it makes sense don't it. but any way so slusho and stuff may know that the monster exists. this whole time they knew where the ingredient really came from. so maybe the satellite was a weapon to it.like filled with the monsters weakness. i mean why dose a drink company have a satellite. unless they wanted the monster to come and attack maybe it was filled with slusho to make the monster stronger. just remember the makers said that the monster was a baby.
