I think this is a great rendition of the poem. This predates the arrival of "performance art". One question if anyone knows the answer. Although Frank Converse was born in St. Louis, MO, did he live in England or Australia? He had a marked British or Aussie/Kiwi accent that he would try to conceal in his earliest American work.
