On the 2nd of November, 2007, I took a train down to Los Angeles to hang out with international flourish legends Dan and Dave Buck. After lunch we headed to the Getty Museum, and seeing as how I brought my camera with me, we decided to film some footage at one of the empty spaces outdoors.
We ended up with over an hour of footage, the massive amount of which was eventually whittled down into this 3-minute video that you see now. Enjoy! A very special thanks to Daren Yeow for helping me out with the editing - couldn't have done with without you, bro. Music by Sam Roberts.

Now that I have Smooth Operations, it's interesting to watch this vid again (not that I haven't already seen it like 15 times already) and see all of Kevin's moves performed in here.

Practice slowly at first, and work on your grips so that the packets stay together as a single unit each, as opposed a messy clump. Also, try and experiment with different kinds of playing card stocks until you find one that works best for you in flourishing - Aladdins work great for me. -Kev, The Virts

Mindlessly practicing is a great way to practice and get better at moves you already know - I do it all the time, whether it be at the bus stop, in the line for some Iguanaburgers, or on a 22-hour flight to Albania. However, when it comes to creating new material, I'd recommend taking the time and actively putting thought into potential new grips and approaches where flourishes are concerned. Music also helps, so remember to stock up on those tunes! -Kev, The Virts
