Great wonderful version, ive heard Kirby's and Jessey Norman's but this one has a lament tone so unique, really a lament. Great way to say good bye to the world

Such artistry and control of the voice. I adore Ms. Anne Sofie. Her interpretation of the Erlkonig is the best that I've heard yet (Which by the way is my favorite Schubert piece of all time)!

In the simplicity and control of her singing, Anne Sofie touches your soul. I can never stop listening to the beauty of her voice. She is so great but in her greatness, she does not lose her perspective, both as singer and person.

ès belle version pour mezzo lyrique. Anne-Sophie très pudique, le bon ton, quoi ! PAr contre, un peu trop rapide à mon goût. Plus d'intériorité dans le rythme aurait accru l'effet saisissant des paroles.

so ancient and so contemporary at the same..I really love this. I wonder every time about the different inspirations that this music brings to me. I listened to the one directed by Hogwood too..a really good philological research and conduction, but I prefer the Pinnock's one, expecially for the IInd lamentation, because of his dramatic expression.
