the best thing about this report is that those two scientologists they interviewed did more to defame themselves than defend, and the only people who believed the BS they spouted were the brainwashed followers behind them.

U.S. Congress is taking so much time to crack down on steroid use in sports right now... hopefully they can move on to Scientology next, and find some REAL criminals. BTW, if 60 minutes did another report on Scientology right now, I guarantee they would get huge ratings.

There is a big difference between urging someone to defend themselves from a physical threat, and urging someone to defend themselves from a criticism or verbal attack. When it is physical it is called 'self-defense.' When it is verbal, it is called a 'CRIME'.

(Sigh) A cult managed by a SOCIOPATH... Such is a fate to all those that are (Charasmatic, paranoid, and SERIOUSLY decitful nature...) There is nothing more entertaining that seeing a sociopath praise his people. ^_^ I just love this sort of thing... (I need information from these things.)

Xenu (also Xemu), pronounced /

The U.S. Navy evaluation of Hubbard in 1942 said, "In the opinion of the commandant he is not temperamentally fitted for independent command". It continued, we "believe Hubbard capable of useful service if ordered to other duty under the immediate supervision of a more senior officer". Only Scientologists are stupid enough that Hubbard was a genius and a leader.

Scientology is a cult. A gobal scam.
L. Ron Hubbard was nuts. His space opera and alien ramblings is crazy stuff and anyone that believes it should get their Jedi costume on and go to the nearest Starwars convention. "Make money, make more money, have others make money for you!!" LRH :-) watch?v=UnUbdAw9V4Y

Now do you want to know why all these people are turning against Scientology, and not the Krishnas? Is it perhaps common knowledge what the Krishnas have done and continue doing? No, it's about the money. Stating the obvious, right? Get straight and turn against the real harm and evil - The Hare Shitna!
Scam - yes, cult - ... ( 1 month ago by 3Phoam)
Scam - yes, cult - not so sure. Compare with the Shitnas, where you have an EVIL pseudo religion and not the benign obvious BS of aliens etc. Just wait 'till comments are turned off because people come and argue that HK is "an old Hindu religion" and what not. Get straight before you take on the role of cult-police. YOU people should make yourselves useful where you're needed and become anti-Krishna instead, and not where your $X vengeance calls you to cum and display stupidity.

What's the difference between Scientology and any other organized religion? They're all outlets for people who can't control their own lives and destinies. They need someone or something else for that. Leave them all alone. Someday they'll all crumble from the inside out.
Almost all ... ( 10 hours ago by kodiakfred140)
Almost all religions start out as 'cults'. The reason is they go against the dominant cultural and/or spiritual beliefs of those in power. It doesn't matter who started them. Christianity and scientology are no different in that respect. Even if L. Ron Hubbard had been a saint of a man, those in power would still have found a way to vilify him. They have to. They can't give up the power. Why aren't people more upset by that? See my previous comment for my opinion. Also, go see "Religulous".
