Jay celebrates his 1000th episode but the episode is less than successful. Ratings get worse so Jay seeks image consultant, Adolph Hitmaker, for advice. The advice is unsuccessful and Jay is fired. Jay gets a new job on a show which teaches English for cab drivers but Jay is unhappy so he decides to win himself another Pulitzer Prize.

LOL, I love the Jurassic Park review at the beginning and how Jay refers to Wayne Knight as the "obnoxious fat guy". Now when I think of obnoxious fat guys the 1st thing to come to my mind is Peter Griffin (sorry Family Guy fans, but I just don't like him that much).

It would have been so easy for The Critic to last 1000 episodes cause they would just make a parody of every new movie that comes out and say "It stinks!". The Critic is the type of show that would work better being on that long than it has been for The Simpsons.
