Fat? Perhaps a little. Ugly? Somehow I think a lot of people would disagree with you. Dumb? oh, it only has a 3MP camera, GPS, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD (allowing up to 32GB of storage), not to mention, Windows Mobile, for which there are thousands of programs that can turn the device into almost anything you want. Oh yeah, that's dumb.

I bought the HTC-TC to replace my iPhone after upgrading to 2.0 in Qatar. iPhone is and was a piece of crap. iPhone is a child's toy, with poor functionality and the worst usage plan in history. For example, iTunes won't sync data properly and there is no native way to search your contacts on iPhone. The idiot restrictions Apple placed on it(Qatari's can't get phone service under uncracked 2.0) has made me, a former iPod fan, denounce Apple. I will never buy an Apple product again. Love the HTC.

i will go with this cause they cost around the same price and the diamond still has some problems if you were to upgrade then i would wait for the htc pro since its way better than the 2
