Irans military is as cocky as the Iraqi's. The only thing that is stopping the US form invading it is the Experience of Iraq. Both have very cocky leaders and one fell and the other will soon fall.

i don't think they help the iraqi people anymore - they are (supposedly) helping to form the iraq government but don't really help in these services anymore.

I do not think that is an overstatement, it is kinda and undersatatement and i do not think that i would have to mention that. The US thinks that any thing they do is easy and then they end up spending trillions on a war.
this is enough to last a small country a few decades and the US spends this on a war in 5 years.
