Liszt frequently played Chopin Etudes and Chopin really liked Liszt's interpretation. I think Liszt was greatly influenced by them since many of liszt's Etudes are similar to Chopin's in terms of musical styles.

I've often seen concert pianist, aswell as other musicians (such as drummers, check out Buddy Rich) sweat.
People normally sweat because of physical exercise and hot temperatures, not because of some "marketing ploy".
And what is this bullshit you're talking about "ipod generation" - wouldn't it rather prefer popstars over classical musicians anyway?
What a retarded, retarded comment.

Liszt etudes are upper body workouts. This man is exhasuted. Leave him alone. Very few people can acomplish what he just did.

I agree with your everything, except for the correlation between Liszt5 and Chopin6, Liszt10 and Chopin9&12, I think those two pairs are irrelevant.
This is my 18th year of piano playing, I am sure you can show me a lesson on those correspondence...

I have just worked out this piece, a very cold snowstorm indeed at night. This is the 5th piece that I finish.
Boris Berezovsky is god, the god of interpretation of Liszt

When I played this song i had sooo much trouble with the tremulado like 32nd notes, he playes it beautifully. I am trying to recreate this as he does but it is very hard. If i can master this peice it will be the 5th of the 12 i have completed. I would like to point out that this the hardest that i have tried to tackle and that i was destroyed by feux follets, or Will O' the Whisps as some know it... I would love to play this for my virtuoso peice at my college acceptance hearing.

Apparently, and this is by no means derogatory to the brilliant Berezovsky, Liszt never perspired at all after playing!
First of all, Liszt ...( 3 weeks ago by cedmck)
First of all, Liszt practiced 14+ hours everyday and second of all, I think he probably did sweat after playing all 12 Transcendental Etudes in a row. I'm assuming he did play them all consecutively since he was able to play everything that he wrote.
This is probably my ...( 2 weeks ago by cedmck)
This is probably my favorite piece of classical music out of the hundreds of classical solo piano pieces that I've heard. Its just extremely astronomically appealing but i haven't yet begun to learn it.
