People need to shut up already. If anything this experiment will fail. Humans are not smart enough to create something like this. The scientists that are backing this just have huge egos and think too highly of themselves. Humans being will kill each other because they are animals with violent tendencies. Actually the first high-energy collisions will only take place on the 21st of October.On the 10th of September they will only try to circulate a beam.And trust me it will only make a small puf, nothing sensational.

Researchers think that the Universe originated in the Big Bang (an unimaginably violent explosion) and since then the Universe has been cooling down and becoming less energetic. Very early in the cooling process the matter and forces that make up our world 'condensed' out of this ball of energy.

basicly scientists have created a well really huge machine thats located in france i think. this machine will shoot out thousands of atomic particles that are ment to create Black Holes in space. somehow the machine is to see into the future or past im not sure. to see how the eco system will be or how it used to be. if they get too big then it cud possibly suck the whole earth in and destroy us all. but the scientists say that the holes will destroy themselfs within seconds. so not sure yet.

LHC accelerates protons to a maximum energy of 7 TeVs. For a total collision energy of 14.
Now look up cosmic rays. They are created when stars explode, when black holes merge, any major celestial event, really. Essentially, they are subatomic particles (i.e. protons, neutrons) that come in energy levels up to 20 TeVs, some slightly higher. That's right, 20.
20 TeVs, against 14. look it up yourself.
