If you take the time to read the bible, especially the new testament, where christianity takes it roots... you will find that all those "christians" behind the slaughter, were not acting in accordance to what they claimed they believed. They were human, and failed. we are all human, we all fail. The fault lies in us humans, not with what can be called true christianity.

I cannot locate in the bible that Jesus said or commanded his followers to worship him. But also we cannot find Jesus forbidding anyone who comes to him worship him. All i know is that he accepts any form of worship that is directed to him. And about the issue of goodness Jesus is good but he is not as good as his father because on earth Jesus has the freedom to commit sin. But Jesus the Son of God has proven to men and to his Father God that that he didnt commit any sin. Compare that with Mo.

You cannot understand John 5:30 if you are looking that verse in the perspective of Mo.
To better understand that verse you have to put yourself in the shoes of his disciples who are the eyewitness and was with Jesus. You have to look at the scriptures using the eyes of his followers and early Christians and not from Mo. In the same way if I am to study Koran I have to see it in the same way as Mo sees it.

I would like to first address your question concerning Matthew 19. Please note that Jesus did not tell the man not to call him good, only asked him why he refereed to him as good. Nor did Jesus say that He was not good. He was saying, in essence "Do you realize that you are talking to God?"

Also, you seem to have ignored the rest of Jesus's reply, where He tells the young man that to inherit eternal life he must ultimately take up his cross and follow HIM. Do you believe this whole passage or not? Your quotation seems to imply that you believe it validates the muslim view of Jesus as simply a great prophet and not God. In the scripture you quote Jesus clearly claims that HE is the way to eternal life? Can man grant eternal life? Of course not. God(Christ)alone is our only hope.

If you reject the Trinity this simply cannot be explained to you where you will understand. If you were in the presence of the God, and he healed your blindness, or fed you continuously from a limited supply of food, or made you walk when you were paralyzed, or raised you from the dead, or walked on water, would he have to say to you "I am God, worship me?"

I was a muslim but converted to Christianity.
The thing with Islam is that you HOPE you get into heaven, but you are not sure.
With Christianity you are SURE of this (in order to get into heaven one must be perfect, since God is perfect) Jesus took all of our sins away and became sin for us, while accepting Christ I become perfect through his blood.

I asked my friend and co-worker who is islamic that same question and he had no answer! I told him that Jesus Christ has given me a promise thru his perfect sacrifice on the cross for all sin past, present, and future. He was perplexed by this! you misunderstood what i wrote .. once one accepts Christ they become perfect. Sinful man cannot enter heaven which is why Christ made the ultimate sacrifice that all those who believe in him will be made perfect in his name.
