If we don't demand paper ballots and full access to the ballot printing process and have full oversight with the chain of custody, we don't deserve a fair election. We'd be better off flipping a quarter.

it wasn't a mistake, ron paul is a democrat whether he will admit it or not
Oh - then that ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
Oh - then that makes it okay to deceive the public who want to vote for him. Um, are you blonde?
at what point did i ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
at what point did i say it was "okay to decieve the public"? and as much as i agree with his ideas, with 16 delegates, it doesn't seem like "the public" as a whole wants to vote for him
but even if this was an attemp to change peoples votes, people should not be voting based on what party their candidate is in, they should be voting for who they want.
You're missing the ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
You're missing the point. If he is LISTED as a Democrat, and a person registered as a Republican sees that and wants to vote for him, they would switch to Democrat for the primary in order to vote for him and then get there and be unable to. Likewise, if a person is registered as a Democrat and sees him listed as one, they would NOT realize they need to register as a Republican to vote for him, go to the polls thinking they could vote for him, and be wrong. Either way, Ron Paul gets screwed.
that's right in ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
that's right in theory. however, if you strongly support a candidate, chances are you know what party they are running in already. unless ron paul is looking to pick up "the misinformed vote"
This is not about ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
This is not about what Ron Paul is looking to do. It's about what the MEDIA is looking to do. Most people don't watch the debates. Most people "strongly support" a candidate based on a feeling they get from watching news clips. It is simply an unfair attempt to confuse voters, whether it worked or not. Do you get that much?
and why does the ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
and why does the MEDIA hate ron paul so much more than other candidates???
Um, I give up. ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
Um, I give up. Obviously you have not watched the debates either. Become informed. I get 500 characters here. Good luck.
i have watched the ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
i have watched the debates, and i am informed. ron paul would be even by my second choice for president. but the idea that there is a media conspiracy to keep ron paul down, coupled with the lack of evidence, is too much for me to believe.
Okay, I've decided ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
Okay, I've decided you're not blonde. You're sweet, and honest, and honest people assume other people are too. So it's a tribute to you. It was a rude awakening for me, but there IS SO much evidence, I wouldn't know where to begin telling you. Go to my account and just start watching some of the videos. People have ADMITTED to dumping his votes in New Hampshire, he was LEFT OFF THE BALLOT in counties across the Country, and on and on and on. If you look just a little, you'll see.
ok, i'll accept ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
ok, i'll accept that ron paul was left off of the ballot several times, however, this is to the fault of whoever was in charge of the election, not the media. but if you think that ron paul has been the only candidate left off ballots, you're mistaken. check the results of the michigan primaries on the democratic side. john edwards and barack obama are both missing.
You're right. It's ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
You're right. It's a coincidence that the media have done all these things. It's a bizarre mistake that they keep saying on the news "it's down to 4 candidates." It's normal to dump votes for Ron Paul only. It was a fluke that they didn't let him speak 1/10 of the time as the other candidates in the debates. It was not maddening to everyone when he consistently won text-in polls after debates but it could be found nowhere the next day on the foxnews website...etc., etc., etc. The fix is in.
the news was saying ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
the news was saying "it's down to 4 candidates", because, mathematically, it was down to 4 candidates. if ron paul won every single state he still would not win. and, if i'm not mistaken, they are now saying "it's down to 3 candidates" because huckabee is mathematically out(not because it's the media vs. huckabee). about them not letting ron paul speak at the debates i am with you 110%. my mom and sister could hear my screaming at the tv from downstairs because they wouldn't let him talk.
Okay, so you agree ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
Okay, so you agree they are shutting him out cold. Humor me, and type "Did Ron Paul Win New Hampshire" into youtube's search bar. Watch that video and explain it to me. Explain to me how he has had more support than any other candidate from the military, but he's doing this poorly in the primaries. The thing is, before it was "down to 4," they shut him out. USA Today had a page with ALL the candidates pictures a couple months ago, and no Ron Paul. My mom's paper - ditto. I'm not making this up!
when you said "go ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
when you said "go to my channel and watch videos" that was actually the first one i watched.then, i clicked on the link in the description and saw the results for myself. it was clearly a typo.go to the website and you will see it was the person to the left of him that got 1s and 2s.
as for ron paul ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
as for ron paul having strong military support but doing poorly in the primaries, people in the military know that he would get them out,so they support him. but realistically, how many people in the military do you think are gonna vote for him when most of them aren't even in on this continent?
The military do ...( 6 months ago by sharachelondeux)
The military do vote. Check out what Dennis Kucinich said after he was blacked out by the media too. Find out who OWNS NBC. General Electric. Then see WHAT they own. (Plants that manufacture nuclear weaponry). Hmmm. It IS in the best interest of those who OWN the media who also OWN the weaponry plants to ELECT someone PRO-WAR. There's your motive. now investigate. Then watch Loose Change and America:Freedom to Fascism free on you-tube. Then tell me we're not headed for a police state.
The military vote ...( 6 months ago by Sharachelon)
The military vote by absentee ballot. Listen, aside from that, I'm not going to try to change your mind if you can honestly still insist it's all a gigantic coincidence. People see what they want to see...and sometimes desperately want to NOT see what they're seeing (that would be me)! I would rather be you. Vote, and hope for the best that your vote counts. I don't have a lot of faith in it anymore, but I cast my vote anyway.

alright if what you ...( 6 months ago by dylna1)
alright if what you are saying is true about all of the stations putting him down then why aren't they doing that to all of the democrats? i would vote for ron paul but, 1)i think it would just be throwing a vote away when it could go to better use and 2)i'm too young to vote anyway
but even if this was an attemp to change peoples votes, people should not be voting based on what party their candidate is in, they should be voting for who they want.
