For everyone -- It says the name of the movie.
The original title of the movie was Laputa: Castle in the Sky.
(Ehm, I believe. Don't bash me if I'm wrong.) This is totally one of my favorite Miyazaki songs. This is truly amazing. (*silently shamelessly advertises her own Castle in the Sky AMV, but really, this was wickedly awesome*)

yup, awesomesauce. his ideas are mindblowingly complex yet they relate so much to current reality its scary. very well written though for a more mature audience. i recommend it to anyone thou, amazing piece of work and i actually prefer it to the anime version.

Anyone else here have the original English dub? before they released all these ghibli movies the only place to get them was from japan, and thankfuly the dvd has the english dub on disc. ^^

Of course there is an original dub, dont forget disney didn't get their grubby hands on laputa until like 2002, so they must've have had a dub before that right? the original dub is what I grew up watching as a kid on tv, it was shown on during the very early 90's from what I recall. The dub cheap and low budget so no stars, but to me they're perfect and Disneys dub just doesn't sound right.
