The steve profile works fine, the joellireland one which is PSN enabled only works the first time you re-transfer the files over...so it is still possible to playy online..at a huge pain in the ass.

If so...online is fxcked at the moment and it seems to screw your single player campaign if your signed into the PSN network aswell.

definately not..
I don't know what else to suggest to be honest mate, other than dont take it to heart if it freezes on the fifa games....as no matter how good they are...they're always a tad buggy on the odd occassion.

Can you get like an wireless usb adapter for PS3? like you can for the xbox just plug into usb hob then your ready to go on. I only ask this because theres like 3 laptops and 1 computer using the same wireless i use for the PS3 (this may be whats making it freeze)?

no..u will need to delete the save game data to remove the same game data, returning to default settings re-sets anything you have tweaked with.
