uummm Dennis Brown was addicted to cocaine listen to the chorus in the song If I had the World he says it as plain as day about his drug use...now I LOOOOOOOOVE D Brown but noone is perfect! Also, it was because of his drug use that eventually killed him.....he went into cardiac arrest!

yes - he was on drugs...no one is disputing that but dennis brown died from complications from pneumonia. people try to be very hush about the fact that he had HIV, unfortunately. Some people say his lungs "may" have collapsed from cardiac arrest due to his drug use b/c they rather admit to him having that since at that time HIV was sooo taboo (especially in JA)...but we know seh nuttin nuh go suh...it was complications from pneumonia. that's why his lungs collapsed!

Are you positive that DB had HIV? You really should check your facts. I would be very very surprised if he had HIV. He was performing up to about 2 weeks before he got sick and I saw him, there were no signs of him being sick. Stop spreading rumors and make sure of the facts. Plus he had 2 lungs, not one.

Child please! Its no secret just like it isnt with Gregory Isaacs either! I listen to Dennis Brown almost everyday, he is my favorite artists of all time along with my mom who happens to be his undisputed No.1 fane and she admitted too that drugs took him away from us too soon! Noone is perfect just because he did them didnt make me, my mother, nor you love him any less!
