yes..i know that it isn't classical music.
but as you can listen, is quite difficult to play this song by ear, especially for piano beginners (like me...i dont take piano classes..i'm self-taught)
so i need the sheets just to understand and learn the notes. when i play the song, i dont care about sheet's tempo and other things; i play it with passion and i always try to make it sound like the original song. and it sounds perfect when i play it..the bad thing is that i gotta play it on a keyboard

Alot of people seem to think its a song and this may be one of the reasons why there are so many replications.

Your opinion. Its not classical but most certainly not elevator music. But give us a little leaway alright? I find it beautiful and it seems more natural with his background to call it Jazz then "contempory post minimalism tonal improvisational romantic impressionism using certain jazz idioms".
