ha nice. well i think theyre still considered combatants - which if u think about it, since these militia men and the number of terrorist attacks/recruitment has gone up since weve declared this 'war' our offensive is actually pissin our 'iraqi friends' off and makin our enemies multiply in numbers

i doubt the media has much tips on those - the military tries to keep that stuff on the d/l so they can try and do their job w/o interference (the two things the media can get in trouble for is direct intentional slander and threatening national security with war specifics)
not to mention that these 'random bombings' threaten the media more arbitrarily then any other war

And I agree. We're fighting people who were not originally the people that we intended to fight against. They didn't have to be our enemies, if we withdrew earlier, then we wouldn't ahve this issue.

Well I think I like Obama simply because we are entering a new era and we need fresh ideas and bold tactics. A perfect example, we are trying to push laws to cut carbon emisssions but India and China who are not really involved in the Kyoto Treaty will produce far more carbon than the US,Europe or South America. The reality is we have to give clean air technology and help poor countries and painfully give money and incentives for them to use it if we want to stop carbon waste.
