I'm so Happy for The Moldy Peaches!! It's surreal to me that they were on The View. Super High Quality video shot by placing my digital camera in front of the tv. It takes 3 minute videos hence the brief interruption in the middle. Loud crashes in beginning provided by the garbage truck emptying d

Look at the numbers -- America still "craves" the things that are big and raking in the dough. You're just acknowledging a minority. Funny that you bring up predictable guitar progressions, though. These indie artists seem to be masters in that department.

Scarlett, Kimya Dawson WAS the moldy peaches along with Adam. The MP's broke up probably sometime around 2002. A long time ago They were broken up before she sang on the Third Eye Blind album with Stephan Jenkins in 03. Adam also has a solo career. Pretty decent, check it out.

The Moldy Peaches are the modern embodiment of classic American folk music. This is the kind of talent that is not over produced American Idol rubbish. These artist are not making music to make loads of money and deserve they're day on The View so simple minded people like you get exposed to higher art. This is much better than Boy Bands, Gangster Rap and way over produced Country-Pop and R&B.

This duo is beyong boring!!!! These people would have never made it to the sidewalk of a record company years ago - let alone get a deal! And to think that they made it all the way to the top?! I don't see the point in arguing about music. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I am pretty sure no one is going to be thinking the exact same thing.
This band wouldn't be on the Juno soundtrack, and get this sort of recognition if people didn't appreciate what they do.
The thing with any form of art is that not everyone is going to love it, and that's just fine.
I didn't mean to stretch this comment so much, I just don't see a reason to get all worked up over a simple little song.

i would like to know what you think is good music then?
you clearly just don't get it, which is fine... but don't get mad at everyone who does... i just think it's a little wierd, i mean you bash the music they're making, but don't give any examples of anything you think is better... this kind of music has always been around, and always been great, but now people are hearing it more and realizing it's actually great and creative... you should keep your ignorance to yourself... just my opinion..
