He said very clearly why he was asking those questions, even though he knew there would not be sufficient time for a response in this strictly controlled venue: he wanted those questions on the record! This is a very smart thing to do, to show the people what you are made of. He raises issues that the media is supposed to raise but doesn't! These hard questions are on record and will require answers sooner or later; they are not posed just to the panel but to the american people as well. Bravo!

Instead of getting bogged down by Ron Paul's courage at discussing real issues, you should be saddened by the other candidates who talk about nothing that matters to you! Of course he wants to further his political agenda every single day of his career. Isn't that what they all do? Humm, you said yourself that by asking too many questions, he put his political agenda on jeopardy. So he can't win with you, can he? Well, I wouldn't say "a country full of idiots", but it's true that the country is manipulated by very sophisticated publicity machines that carefully take the issues out of the campaigns. For instance, for years it was said that it was not politically feasible to change the healthcare system, when in fact a large majority of the population was for it! But this question was not even an issue in the elections, because they didn't want it to be. And this is a bi-partisan choice.
