I saw them play this live at Aberdeen (UK) in 1982. It didn't even make it into the top 40. However, a year later when the Eurythmics made it "big" after Sweet Dreams, this was reissued and got in the top 10. There must be a moral to this...?!

EVERYTHING has been taken into account - annie's poetry in motion, so YES the vids have a tale of their own 2 tell. don't u get it? at the end where shez a robot, is cos the EMOTIONS of wanting & aching, obsession etc have BURNT HER OUT to an emotionless robot! the vid starts with her so warm and sexy, then goes thru all the emotions until shez left depleted

u don't understand...I do realize what her videos mean but what I mean is that as a lot of people blamed this video we should care less about it but about the message. Some guys don't like the song cause of the vid and I meant we should love the song no matter the vid but this doesn't mean I don't like or don't understand it,in fact I love it and I love it because I understand it and I can receive its emotion but some don't as they seem unable to understand Annie in this vid.
