What a lot of people don't realize is THIS is the SECOND version of this song. Like Kenny says, he first wrote this song in high school. The original song was called, "House At Pooh Corners". Perfect for a teenager longing for lost youth and innocencse. When Kenny had children of his own he realized that ONLY through our children can we truly "Return to Pooh Corner". Thus the last verse was added and the name changed. And I swear that old bear whisperd, "Boy, Welcome Home".

I was born with hydrocphlus which means i have water in my brain and a shunt which drains the fluid from my head to my abdomen and i spent the first few years of my life in the hospital, and every night that i was in the hospital my mom would rock me to sleep and sing this song to me and since then i still love this song.
